About Beatrice
Beatrice Lana has over eight years’ experience managing strategic partnerships at Cancer Research Horizons, Cancer Research UK. She works with academic, biotech and industry partners across early research, preclinical and clinical drug development. She has extensive experience managing strategic alliances, partnerships and collaborative initiatives and currently manages, among others, the CRUK-AstraZeneca Functional Genomics Centre and CRH-Diamond Light Source partnerships.
Beatrice holds a PhD in Neuroscience from University College London, where she also conducted postdoctoral research in translational pharmacology, and a Certificate of Achievement in Alliance Management (CA-AM). Before joining Cancer Research Horizons, she worked in technology transfer at Queen Mary Innovation, helping turn early-stage research into commercial opportunities.
