About Bharath
Rebecca is a group leader within Bioscience at Cancer Research Horizons, providing strategic leadership to support drug discovery biology and disease positioning activities for projects within the Therapeutic Innovation portfolio.
Prior to joining Cancer Research Horizons in 2023, Rebecca was Head of Target Discovery at the Milner Therapeutics Institute, University of Cambridge, and worked closely with the CRUK Cambridge Centre to support the conversion of academic science to clinical impact, through research, industry engagement and entrepreneurship.
Rebecca graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology, a PhD in Cancer Research and gained postdoctoral experience in both the US and UK. She has over 20 years of experience working in academic, industry and start-up settings and has developed a wide range of expertise in target validation, drug discovery and project management, primarily focused on oncology.
