About Breandan
Breandan Clarke is Post Deal Manager at Cancer Research Horizons, where he leads the Post Deal function in Commercial Partnerships. Breandan helps oversee the organisation's global portfolio of licensing and equity interests, spanning approved medicines, clinical-stage therapeutics, diagnostics, medtech innovations and spin-out companies. He works closely with biotechnology and pharmaceutical partners worldwide to support the development and commercialisation of Cancer Research UK-funded discoveries while ensuring effective portfolio management and partner compliance.
Before joining Cancer Research Horizons in 2022, Breandan held commercial and contracts roles at the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) and Queen's University Belfast. With over ten years' experience in research commercialisation, he has expertise in intellectual property, licensing, contract negotiation, and strategic partnership management. Breandan holds an LLB in Law from Queen's University Belfast.
