About Claire
Claire Heride is a Principal Scientist in the Therapeutic Translation team at Cancer Research Horizons, where she focuses on advancing early-stage academic discoveries into novel cancer therapeutics. She has extensive experience in target identification, preclinical drug discovery and translational portfolio development, working at the interface of academia and industry to translate promising biological insights into clinical applications.
In her role, Claire combines a strong understanding of disease biology with strategic portfolio and partnership development, building collaborations with academic partners, identifying high-potential therapeutic opportunities and advancing projects from early validation through to drug candidate development, with the ultimate aim of delivering benefit for cancer patients. Her scientific background is in cellular and molecular biology, with particular expertise in protein homeostasis, synthetic lethality and genome integrity in cancer. Claire highly values collaborative working for its opportunities to learn, innovate and drive meaningful impact.
