David Walter

David is a Group Leader at Cancer Research Horizons and the Cancer Research UK lead of the FGC, having worked there with Douglas Ross Thriepland since the centre opened its doors. He has nine years of experience in functional genomics and pre-clinical oncology R&D. He gained his PhD in cell biology from the University of Basel, Switzerland and completed his post-doctoral studies at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, where he studied the role of cell cycle regulators in genome maintenance.
