With over 15 years of experience spanning biochemical assay development and translational drug discovery, Jon has a track record of progressing discovery programmes through key milestones and building high-performing scientific teams.
His expertise centres on mechanistic biochemistry and target validation, with particular strengths in biochemical and enzyme-kinetic approaches. As a drug discovery project leader, he has experience in cross-functional collaboration and advancing programmes from initial academic engagement through to workplan design, team formation and successful portfolio integration. By combining rigorous scientific assessment and mechanistic insight, he helps shape early biological ideas into discovery-ready therapeutic opportunities, delivering translational impact and organisational effectiveness.
