About Joy
Joy has been working as Business Development Manager in the Business Development and Alliance Management team since January 2024.
Joy completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at University College London before undertaking a Wellcome Trust-funded 1+3 joint Masters/PhD programme in Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge. She then worked as a Senior Scientist at a biotech start-up specialising in targeted protein degradation, followed by a role in competitive intelligence at a life science consultancy, before joining Cancer Research Horizons.
In her current role, she is responsible for supporting technology development with the Search & Evaluation team, managing IP commercialisation, undertaking business development and licensing activities, and managing industry alliances across various programmes and trials, including but not limited to the TRACERx flagship programme and the DETERMINE national precision medicine platform trial.
