About Shona
Shona is a Senior Portfolio Analyst within the Data Analysis and Business Intelligence function in the Business Operations team. She supports data analysis projects across the Cancer Research Horizon’s portfolio and designs reports to facilitate data-driven insights and decisions.
Shona graduated with a BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Business Management), also gaining experience in medical sciences during her studies. Her degree included an industrial placement year in Cancer Research UK’s Centre for Drug Development (CDD) across 2018-2019. After a short time working for a company delivering home-based clinical trials post-graduation, she returned to CDD in 2021. Shona joined the Business Operations team on a part-time secondment in 2023 and has continued working with the team since.
