About Thomas
Tom is responsible for business development activity across Therapeutic Innovation (TI) at Cancer Research Horizons. He is responsible for shaping the partnering strategy across TI's portfolio of wholly-owned oncology drug discovery programmes, acting as dedicated BD lead on priority assets and working closely with scientific teams to build competitive positioning and identify routes to industry collaboration and commercialisation.
Tom has spent his career in life sciences commercialisation, working across pharma, biotech, medtech and data partnerships. He has secured significant funding commitments and negotiated major licensing deals, spanning complex multi-stakeholder environments across industry, government, academia, and philanthropy. Alongside his TI work, Tom contributes to Cancer Research Horizons' wider strategic initiatives as Partnerships Lead at C-Further, and has developed expertise in life sciences financial modelling and portfolio valuation, applying these to map credible routes to market and, ultimately, patient impact for children with cancer.
