Cancer Impact Club

Join our community of business builders whose philanthropy, expertise and networks will multiply our impact on early-stage cancer ventures.

People talking at a meeting

The Cancer Impact Club will bring together up to 50 members to raise £5m to help double our Seed Fund’s impact. The Seed Fund, set up in June 2022, aims to close the funding gap between cutting-edge academic cancer research and a start-up becoming ready for commercial investment. The fund has already made 26 investments in high-potential cancer ventures, with many more in the pipeline.

About the club

The club is a community of business builders whose philanthropy, expertise and networks will multiply our impact on early-stage cancer ventures. It comprises entrepreneurs and leaders from private equity, venture capital, and associated companies.

These members understand the inherent risks and rewards of backing early ventures with the potential to change the lives of millions. Their expertise and networks will amplify their generous donations through business building advice and support for portfolio companies.

Members commit to a donation of £100k over three years, with every £1 donated combined with £1 from the Seed Fund to be invested in high-potential cancer ventures.

"Joining the Cancer Impact Club offers an exciting opportunity to translate scientific breakthroughs into tangible patient benefits. By collaborating with fellow entrepreneurs and leveraging our expertise, we can bring transformative ideas to life. Successful Seed Fund ventures will deliver groundbreaking cancer treatments, potentially changing countless lives."
