We unite world-class experts and cutting-edge technology to embrace novel approaches and deliver ground breaking therapies. We are a single organisation with multiple sites embedded in leading UK academic and biotech centres.

Our Commercial Partnerships team is committed to building strong collaborations to identify and accelerate the translation of innovative discoveries into life-changing cancer treatments and diagnostics. They're uniquely placed to support translational funding, entrepreneurial development, licensing and collaboration and start-up creation.
Search and Evaluation
Our Search and Evaluation team identifies promising cancer research opportunities, both domestically and globally, funded by Cancer Research UK. We meticulously assess these discoveries for their clinical potential, safeguarding intellectual property and cultivating strategic partnerships or spin-out companies to expedite their translation into life-changing treatments.
Ventures
Our specialist Ventures team provides seed funding, access to expert networks and business building support to high-potential, early-stage start-ups. We do this globally from within and beyond the Cancer Research UK network to propel them into patient impact faster.

Business Development and Alliance Management
Our Business Development and Alliance Management bridges the gap between research and industry by marketing our technologies, building partnerships through licensing and collaborations, and fostering industry alliances aligned with Cancer Research UK’s data strategy. We work closely with industry, investors, academia, and other partners to create tailored collaborations aimed at addressing specific cancer challenges.

Our Business Operations team is dedicated to streamlining commercial processes. They specialise in managing partnerships, patents, business intelligence, and digital products, offering a centralised solution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

CancerTools.org is a non-profit, global research tools collaborative where cancer researchers from over 180 institutes worldwide, contribute research tools and share knowledge to accelerate cancer research discoveries.
