Bladder Cancer Prognosis Programme database

We are seeking non-exclusive licensing partners for a clinically linked bladder cancer dataset comprising multi-omic, pathology and outcomes data from 1,284 patients with over five years of follow-up.

The opportunity

The Bladder Cancer Prognosis Programme (BCPP) is a large, clinically linked bladder cancer resource comprising 1,284 newly diagnosed patients across both NMIBC and MIBC. It includes an additional 252 non-bladder cancer controls for comparative analyses.

A key strength of BCPP is its extensive clinical database. This combines baseline patient and tumour characteristics with treatment history, recurrence, progression, and survival outcomes collected through longitudinal follow-up (minimum of five years).

The resource includes a diverse range of molecular and imaging datasets generated from tumour, blood and urine samples. The datasets include:

  • targeted tumour sequencing in more than 950 patients
  • germline genotyping
  • transcriptomic profiling
  • proteomic data
  • digitised pathology images with IHC for multiple clinically relevant biomarkers

BCPP is a valuable resource for translational research, enabling studies of the molecular drivers of recurrence and progression, development of prognostic and predictive biomarkers, and multimodal analyses combining pathology, genomics and clinical outcomes. The scale of the clinical cohort, together with the breadth of available molecular and imaging data, makes BCPP a powerful resource for precision medicine research and innovation in bladder cancer.
